Annual Tamalada
The Annual Tamalada Alumni Homecoming Dinner and Dance event is a fundraiser for scholarship funding. This alumni event is a reunion of all class years to join and celebrate each other and their missed times. Tickets are sold for the dinner, but Event Sponsorship and Donations are greatly appreciated.
Annual Irish Open
Irish Open is an alumni annual golf fundraiser event for scholarship. It’s a scramble play which all alumni create teams and prizes are given to winners and players. Irish golfers and teams pay a fee and with the help of major sponsorship or donors are greatly appreciative.
Since its inception, the Alumni Association – Cathedral High School Alumni Association has awarded over $531,500 in academic scholarships to and awards to students at Cathedral High School over the last 20 years, and continues to be a driving force in bringing alumni together.
The primary purpose of the Cathedral Alumni Association is to be charitable, educational, spiritual, and to promote fellowship within the meaning of the Internal Revenue Service Code, Section 501(c)(3) and the Tax Code Section 11.18 (c). Specifically, the Association is organized to assist Cathedral High School, 1309 N. Stanton St., El Paso, TX 79902, a non-profit Catholic school, in fund raising activities for the Student Scholarship Financial Aid program, and specific financial requests from Cathedral High School as approved by CAA's Board of Directors. The Association will mentor students to obtain a Catholic education to help them pursue a professional career.
